Terms of Service

1. Who can use Kiloop

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (or have a parent or guardian agree for you).

2. Your account

Keep your login details secure and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time; see Delete your account.

3. Your health and safety

Kiloop is not medical advice. Daily goals, routes and AI training plans are general suggestions, not a substitute for advice from a doctor or qualified professional. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are training for high-altitude or strenuous activities.

Stop and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Suggested routes may not account for traffic, terrain, weather, closures or local rules: stay aware of your surroundings, follow local laws and guidance, and don't use the app in ways that distract you while walking, cycling or driving. You take part in any activity at your own risk.

4. Kiloop Plus and payments

• Kiloop is free to use. Kiloop Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features.
• Subscriptions are bought and billed through the App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• If a free trial is offered, you're charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
• Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• We may change prices with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

For purchases on iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add, such as photos, notes and journey names. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the Service for you (for example, showing your photos on your journey map). You confirm you have the right to upload it.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using Kiloop;
• upload unlawful, harmful or offensive content;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or our systems without permission;
• reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service, or interfere with how it works;
• use bots or automated means to access the Service, except as we allow.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the app, design, logo and text, belongs to Kiloop and its licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use while you follow these terms.

8. Third-party services

Kiloop works with services such as Apple Health, Health Connect, Apple and Google sign-in, and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. Their own terms apply, and we're not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Kiloop accurate and available, but the Service is provided “as is”. Distances, routes, GPS tracks and health figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Kiloop is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for injury arising from activities you choose to do. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Kiloop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Country / state], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Kiloop after that means you accept the new terms.
